English Language Arts Teacher - Grades 6-12

Pam moved to Fayetteville from Irving, Texas in October of 2022 after her husband John went to be with the Lord. She is looking forward to what the Lord has planned for her in this new chapter of her life. Her educational pursuits include an Associate Degree in Business Administration from Owens Technical College in Toledo, Ohio. Pam then earned her Bachelor's Degree from the University of Texas at Arlington.

History Teacher - Grades 6-12

My name is Johnny Collins, and I grew up in Fayetteville and attended Fayetteville State University in pursuit of my Bachelors in Education. Upon completion, I have over 20 years of experience with Cumberland County Schools. I also have a Master’s in Administration & Leadership along with an Educational Specialist Degree (EDS) in Curriculum & Instruction. My passion for teaching has led to my philosophy that not only do students learn from me, but I also learn from my students.

Hello! My name is Shelia Wood Council, and I am delighted to serve as the PK/K teacher at Kids Stars Rising Christian Learning Academy. My passion is creating a loving, nurturing, and Christ-centered classroom where every child feels safe, valued and encouraged to learn. I believe that all children can learn and succeed when given the support, guidance, and opportunities they need to grow. My name is Alexandra Dunshee-Wilkins. My moto is: Every day we wake up is another day to try again. Our mistakes from yesterday do not determine what we can do today. I have a love for God, my family, and children. I have had a love for children from an early age. I was volunteering in the nursery at Sandy Grove Church or babysitting since I was 12 years old.

Tanya Fortune brings to Kingdom Stars Rising a variety of skill sets and strengths. She has been with the Academy since its inception in June 2019 and has served wherever needed as an administrative assistant, classroom teacher, teacher assistant, and resource teacher.

Mrs. Sharon Holmes comes to Kingdom Stars Rising Christian Learning Academy with extensive experience, dedication and a talent for inspiring her students to achieve academic excellence. She earned her Bachelor of Science and Master of Arts in Education at Fayetteville State University.

My name is Sherry Hutchens. I am a mother of 4 and a proud grandmother of 15 wonderful grandchildren- Family is one of my greatest joys and what keeps me grounded in what truly matters. It’s an honor to be a part of helping to guide and shape young minds in an environment where Christ is the center of everything we do.

Tiffany Ingram

Prekindergarten Teacher

Mrs. Tiffany Ingram is an experienced early childhood educator and dedicated leader with over nine years of teaching and management expertise. Mrs. Ingram holds an Associate Degree in Child Development from MiraCosta College in California.

Lane Scott Lene'

Fourth Grade Teacher

Mr. Lene' is an integral part of our Kingdom Stars Rising Family as our after-school care director. He is very dependable, hardworking, and organized. Mr. Lene' has worked in customer service for several years, eventually serving as a general manager at Highway 55 before moving back to Fayetteville to pursue his true passion: serving students and their families. Due to his experience in customer service, he has easily transferred these skills to the classroom.

Natilee Oliver

Instructional Support Specialist (Grades 6-12)

Natilee Oliver is very dependable, hardworking, and helpful to all those around her. She is very efficient and completes tasks with excellence and precision. Miss Oliver is a graduate of Falcon Christian Academy. We are grateful to have Miss Oliver as a part of our KSR family!

Timothy Oliver

Associate Principal - Electives Teacher - MS/HS

Mr. Oliver moved to Fayetteville, where he followed his passion for investing in the lives of students both inside and outside the classroom. Through his work at E. E. Smith High School, Falcon Christian Academy, and Douglas Byrd Middle School, Tim has dedicated himself to encouraging, teaching, coaching, and mentoring young people.

Brittany Osborne enjoys working with children of all ages and academic skills. Her experiences working with children include volunteering in children's church, babysitting, and homeschooling, in which she holds accreditations in North Carolina and New York.

Garna Parsley

Science Teacher - Grades 6-12/STEAM Chair/National Honor Society Sponsor

My name is Mrs. Garna Parsley and I'm very excited to be back with the Kingdom Stars Rising Christian Learning Academy team. I have extensive experience teaching intermediate and high school students science and math. This coming school year we will begin having a robotics team and exploring the world of Artificial Intelligence and how it relates to our everyday experiences.

Jamens Ray, II

Math Teacher (Grades 6-12)

Mr. Ray served as a substitute teacher with Hoke County Schools, teaching math and science across multiple grade levels. He maintains structural classroom environments that support student learning and engagement. Mr. Ray has the ability to adapt lesson delivery to meet diverse student needs and learning styles. He reinforces discipline, accountability, and positive behavior in academic settings.

Kristan Silvestri

Electives Teacher (Grades 6-12)

Kristan Silvestri comes with over twenty years of experience coaching and mentoring students ages 3–18—primarily working with high school-aged athletes—combined with an academic background in exercise science and clinical physiology, she brings a strong foundation in both scientific knowledge and student development that she is eager to apply in the classroom.

David Simmons

Principal - Hope Mills Road/Transportation/Maintenance

David Simmons is a veteran of the United States Air Force. Educated at Fayetteville Technical Community College, his specialties are visual arts and computer/tech repair. Mr. Simmons has a pure heart for GOD and loves children. He is an invaluable asset to Kingdom Stars Rising and assists in all areas of the schools.

Dr. Sharonne Simmons

Superintendent/Principal/Chapel/MS/HS Electives Teacher

Dr. Sharonne Simmons has 25 years of experience in public and private school education. She is a certified and licensed superintendent, classroom teacher, and former school administrator in North Carolina Public Schools.

Angela Snow Powell

First Grade Teacher

My name is Angela Snow Powell. I retired from Hoke County Schools after 20 years of dedicated service, during which I held roles as a Pre-K Teacher Assistant, After-School Care Program Staff, and Child Nutrition Assistant. I take great pleasure in nurturing children and supporting their development.

Chanda Sparrow

Multi-Age Exceptional Children's Teacher

Ms. Chanda Sparrow has over twenty-five years of experience working in the medical field as a certified phlebotomy technician and a certified nursing assistant (CNA). Ms. Sparrow received her formal medical training in Norfolk, Virginia.

Carolyn Williams

Kindergarten Teacher/ (Grades K-5 & EC Lead Teacher)

Ms. Carolyn Williams received an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education and has served in Cumberland County Schools for 25 years, primarily in kindergarten. She enjoys working with children and helping them grow.
