Dr. Sharonne Simmons
Principal/History Teacher - MS/HS/Bible Study l & ll/ MS/HS Electives/ Chapel

Dr. Sharonne Simmons has twenty-four years of experience in public and private school education. She is a certified and licensed classroom teacher and former school administrator in North Carolina Public Schools. She holds two Associate of Applied Science Degrees: one in Hotel & Restaurant Management from Phillips Junior College (Fayetteville), and the other in Business Administration from Fayetteville Technical Community College.

Additionally, she holds a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education (K-6), and a Master of School Administration, both from Fayetteville State University. She is a North Carolina Principal Fellow. Dr. Simmons' Doctor of Education (Educational Leadership) degree was conferred upon her from Gardner-Webb University in August 2018.  

Before transitioning into school administration, Dr. Simmons took several classes of History (Grades 9-12) at Fayetteville State University. She is excited to teach history in the middle & high school while incorporating a biblical worldview.
