Mrs. Sharon Holmes comes to Kingdom Stars Rising Christian Learning Academy with extensive experience, dedication and a talent for inspiring her students to achieve academic excellence. She earned her Bachelor of Science and Master of Arts in Education at Fayetteville State University.
Mrs. Holmes taught in the North Carolina Public School System for 21 years. She also worked in the New York Public School System for 16 years. She has retired from both systems with a total of 37 successful years of teaching. Mrs. Holmes has served at Kid Stars Rising for two years and is excited to serve a third year as the fifth-grade teacher.
Mrs. Holmes is currently certified to teach in both states in the following areas: Birth-2 years old, Kindergarten-6th grade, EC (Exceptional Children)-General and Adaptive Curriculum K-6. She received and continues to maintain her National Board Certification since 2002. Her philosophy is that all children can and will learn as their individual needs are met.
