My name is Johnny Collins, and I grew up in Fayetteville and attended Fayetteville State University in pursuit of my Bachelors in Education. Upon completion, I have over 20 years of experience with Cumberland County Schools. I also have a Master’s in Administration & Leadership along with an Educational Specialist Degree (EDS) in Curriculum & Instruction. My passion for teaching has led to my philosophy that not only do students learn from me, but I also learn from my students.
Family values are very important to me as I’ve been married to my high school sweetheart for almost thirty years. We have raised our two beautiful daughters to love and respect others. Once my students are in my class, they are now part of my extended family. I have over 600 extended family members and have kept in contact with several students over the years.
I look forward to adding new family members every year and hope the new family members grow into the best of the best in our communities!
