Mr. Timothy Oliver was born in Columbus, Ohio (Go Buckeyes!), but his heart was shaped in West Virginia, where he was raised after moving there in 1994. From an early age, faith became the foundation of his life. Raised in the church, Tim discovered a deep passion for serving others—especially young people—and has spent much of his life pouring into youth ministry: first as a student, then as a leader, mentor, worship leader, and student pastor.
Music has always been a meaningful part of Tim’s journey. Whether behind a drum set or leading worship with an acoustic guitar, he has used music as a way to connect people to faith, hope, and community. His calling to ministry led him to earn a Bachelor’s Degree in Christian studies with an emphasis in Youth Ministry from Grand Canyon University.
In 2022, Tim moved to Fayetteville, where he continued following his passion for investing in the lives of students both inside and outside the classroom. Through his work at E. E. Smith High School, Falcon Christian Academy, and Douglas Byrd Middle School, Tim has dedicated himself to encouraging, teaching, coaching, and mentoring young people. Whether serving as a teacher assistant, football and baseball coach, athletic director, Bible teacher, or student pastor, his heart has always remained the same: to help others feel seen, valued, and supported.
Tim has been married to his beautiful wife, Kristine, since 2011, and together they have three awesome and wonderful children: Natilee, Kahlan, and Benjamin. More than any title or accomplishment, Tim treasures his role as a husband, father, family man, and friend of God. He loves spending time with his family, going to the beach, watching movies together, reading, and diving deep into biblical history and Scripture.
His life is rooted in union with Christ, compassion, grace, and the belief that ministry is not just something you do on a stage or in a church building — it’s how you live, serve, and love people every day.
