While her professional path is not that of a traditional classroom educator, she views this as a meaningful advantage. Her background in coaching and mentoring has allowed her to teach and apply scientific concepts—such as human physiology, biomechanics, and injury prevention—in real-world, engaging ways. She has found that her passion for teaching is not only demonstrated through instruction but also felt by the students she works with—often inspiring them to engage more fully and take ownership of their learning.

She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from Southern Connecticut State University’s School of Education, specializing in Human Performance, where she completed coursework aligned with physical education curriculum standards. She also earned a Master of Science in Clinical Exercise Physiology from the University of Pittsburgh, which provided her with an in-depth understanding of human body systems, health wellness, and disease prevention.

We are excited to allow Ms. Silvestri to share her depth of knowledge and experiences with our middle and high school students at Kingdom Stars Rising!
