Es un gran honor dar la bienvenida al entrenador Steven Mims a nuestra familia de la Academia de Aprendizaje Cristiano Kid Stars Rising. Es un galardonado entrenador de baloncesto con más de quince años de experiencia en el desarrollo y mentoría de estudiantes, tanto dentro como fuera de la cancha.
Recognized as Coach of the Year for two consecutive seasons, Coach Mims has consistently fostered a culture of excellence, ensuring that every one of his students earned opportunities to attend college. Through his efforts, he successfully helped players gain private and/or Christian school educations, proper exposure, and scholarships, enabling them to continue their athletic and academic careers at four-year universities.
Formerly attending North Carolina A&T University and Wingate University, Coach Mims' educational background and certification is in Communication and Media Studies. He served as a substitute teacher for several years at Fayetteville Academy and Berean Baptist Academy in Fayetteville. We are honored to have Coach Mims on our team to help instill the values of dreams, hope, faith in GOD, perseverance, and accountability in our students, while teaching History from a Biblical perspective.
In addition to teaching History to our middle and high school students, as the KSR Athletic Director, Coach Mims will initiate and facilitate our Kid Stars Rising Christian Learning Academy "Shining Stars" Basketball Team.
