Hace muchos años, la Dra. Sharonne Simmons tuvo el gran sueño de abrir un centro recreativo para niños en edad escolar y contribuir a su desarrollo académico, físico, social y espiritual. Su amor por los niños y su pasión por su felicidad y éxito siempre han sido la motivación principal en su trayectoria educativa. En 2018, el Señor la llamó a realizar obras mucho mayores de las que jamás hubiera imaginado, comisionándola para abrir una escuela de K-5, a la que llamó "Kid Stars Rising Christian Learning Academy". Así, la escuela abrió sus puertas el 17 de junio de 2019. Tras tres años atendiendo únicamente a estudiantes de primaria, en 2022, el Señor puso a prueba su fe y la inspiró a ampliar la escuela a los grados PreK-12.
Her husband, and Fellow Administrator, Mr. David Simmons, is, and has always been, an instrumental support system in seeing this dream become a reality. Putting GOD first and treating His people the way He tells us to in the Bible, have been the keys to their success. As they approach year eight of this amazing journey, they look forward to new beginnings, while continuing to praise GOD for keeping them through the many trials and tribulations that they have endured. Every setback that they have overcome has become a great setup for GOD's indelible rewards.
