¡Hola! Mi nombre es Shelia Wood Council y estoy encantada de ser la maestra de preescolar y jardín de infantes en la Academia Cristiana de Aprendizaje Kids Stars Rising. Mi pasión es crear un ambiente de amor, cuidado y centrado en Cristo, donde cada niño se sienta seguro, valorado y motivado para aprender. Creo que todos los niños pueden aprender y tener éxito cuando reciben el apoyo, la guía y las oportunidades que necesitan para crecer. Mi objetivo es ayudar a cada niño a desarrollarse académica, social y espiritualmente, construyendo una base sólida para su éxito futuro.
Continual learning has always been an important part of my educational journey. I currently hold several Bachelor's Degrees and/or certifications in the following areas: Elementary Education (K-6), Intermediate Education (Grades 4-6), Middle Grades Language Arts (Grades 6-9), Middle Grades Physical Education (Grades 6-9), and Business Education (Grades 9-12).
Outside of the classroom, I enjoy spending time with my church family, participating in church activities, being with family and friends, reading, and cheering on my favorite football, basketball, and baseball teams.
I am married to Mac Council, and together we have one daughter, Shelia Marie, who is married to Aaron Russ. We are proud grandparents to two wonderful grandsons, Allister and Gaston. Our family is truly one of God's greatest blessings.
I look forward to partnering with families and watching our little learners grow, explore, and thrive throughout the school year. We are going to have a wonderful and exciting year together.
