Garna Parsley
My name is Mrs. Garna Parsley and I’m very happy to be a part of the KSR Academy family. I will be teaching the middle and high School Science program this year and am looking forward to getting to know each one of you while celebrating your academic successes here at KSR Academy.
Students’ can anticipate an exciting year ahead regarding their studies in science. Some topics of study we’ll be covering are our sun and light wave energy, alternative forms of energy besides fossil fuels, electricity, and forces of motion, just to name a very few.
I’m a highly qualified state certified teacher for math and science and have 20 years plus teaching experience within and without public and private schools throughout North Carolina and Michigan. I reside in Cumberland County with my husband, 2 sons, and our two pets; a miniature dachshund by the name of Peaches and a Siamese cat named Lily Peanut. I also have a daughter who now resides in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
